2007 The Climb
Dark as night, the perfect marriage of two great varieties! The petite sirah, sourced from Los Olivos, offers up juicy blue fruits with plenty of structure. The syrah, from the famous Thompson Vineyard in Los Alamos, provides dark cherry and blackberry flavors along with complex spicy aromatics. Together, they make a surprisingly fruit-forward complex wine that is ‘open for business’ now but will benefit from cellaring as well.
